I have insane anxiety today. What do you guys do when you need to calm your nervous system? It is unreal how bad it feels. I’d almost rather destroy my body than hold this anxiety.

I find exercise is a great short term reliever of anxiety - even if it is going on an exercise bike in the hotel gym for 30 mins when staying away for work. As above excluding myself makes it worse

Take a shower. Listen to music. Watch an episode of the office

1) Taking a walk and 2) opening up to someone. Staying stationary and suffering in silence are two of my worst triggers for downward spiraling anxiety/depression, and resolving those two tend to help faster than anything else will. But that’s just me and everybody is different.

Yoga sauna is good

thoughts and prayers, friend. if you have someone safe to call and talk to about what's going on for you, I find that helpful for me

I wanted to thank this bowl for listening/empathizing. I have suffered from depression and took steps to feel better (including antidepressants, therapy, exercise, and talking about my mental health). Took a while, but I am feeling better. Some days are hard, but I can say I am progressing. I hope this message serves as HOPE for people who are also suffering, because when you’re down it feels like it won’t end. But it IS possible to feel normal and feel happiness again. Hang in there 🙏🏻❤️

I have a 7 mo, 8 lb cavapoo. She is so close to being potty trained but we can’t get past the line. She will go 3-4 days without an accident, and then will have 1 or 2 accidents 2 days in a row. The accident is always her pooping, and its usually if we miss her time. Seems like she has to poop 4-5 times a day. When will she gain bladder control, esp given that my wife and I will have to go back into the office at some point?!

Just got back into weekly therapy and already feel a wave of relief. I had to switch therapists and it took 2 months to find a good one. I almost told myself I don’t need therapy I’m on medical management. What was I thinking?! Haha 🤯

Oklahoma just banned abortions from the point of “fertilization”. So I have a few questions: Is it just women who are in blue cities that get abortion? Do women in red cities not get abortion? How do theses women vote? I keep hearing that most women support abortion (pro choice), but women are ~half of the voting block, so how do the women who are “pro-choice vote? Something is not adding up. Is there public data on the number (%) women from red cities who travel to blue cities to get abortion?
