I'm surprised you have an interview, EY and KPMG just had layoffs. I had a case study for a large national TAS interview. Was asked to set up a databook and talk about trends/potential adjustments

I would touch on your auditing of P&L stuff like revenue recognition, etc. a lot of audits focus a lot on the BS while TAS engagements focus around producing Pro-forma P&L/EBITDA

Help! I’m from a general strategy consulting background (big 4) and have some experience in large scale transformations as well. I know joining tech companies seems to be a good move right now, but I’d like to understand, what are the best types of roles that ex consultants could seamlessly move to? I heard Product Managers, Product Owners, Program Managers, but are there any others? I want to exit for sure but I don’t want to make a short term decision I regret.

Does anyone else feel like their burn-out cycle is shorter? It used to take me about 2 years of grind before I hit a burn-out phase where I needed to do some serious recuperating. It feels like I'm at 3 months now, or even less. I've already spoken to my wife about building quarterly mini-vacations into my schedule just to keep my energy up. And by burn-out, I mean you're at the point that every single ball you are juggling can drop and you get fired and almost see that as a blessing.

Hi fishes - I’m with an MBB as a 2y Partner looking to move to B4, for a bunch of reasons. In active conversations with two of them. While compensation levels seem similar for now, the other posts on this bowl suggest we end up making more at B4 than MBB. (Referring to the 1.5M number of a y4 partner at b4). What is the real trajectory that people here have seen at B4? And how much of that is bonus - base - other components?
