I finished my Amazon loop interview and received a good feedback from the recruiter. A few days later, she called asking about a possible start date and location, and requested me to send a copy of my ID. She told me the result will come out in two days and exactly two days later, she told me the result is delayed and to wait a few more days. I can't help but feel like I didn't get the job. Anybody got a same experience?

I applied for a job and was interviewed by the TA Lead who told me that he'll follow up with me on Monday after connecting with the HR team. How long should I wait until I follow up? I sent a follow up at the end of the day Monday but haven't heard back yet. Should I assume I didn't get selected? In seeking to advance beyond an impending permanent burnout spinning wheels at lower levels, how does one best acquire a top position, say, Director, or apply their skills in a way that’s fulfilling again? Pivot is such a different kind of advancement, its not climbing or moving laterally in a game of chutes and ladders; its more redefining what it means to work with the guts and passion. With a company lead whose mind is out of the game and ready to retire and move on, how do I get his job?

Hey everybody, new here. But after reading through some of the post , I see that I am not the only one in the same boat. I’m in my 2 year as a teacher, currently a middle school math teacher. It was never my intention to begin with and I don’t mind it. I just know that’s not where my heart is. Anybody have similar experiences moving from teaching into another career such as something in finance. How would I even begin to break into the field with a degree in something not particularly related.

I’m an entrepreneur and been mainly involved in local small-market businesses for the past two decades.

I’m looking to transition into a position with a company that is involved with larger markets and bigger projects—something that that has a larger scale than my past projects.

I’d appreciate any feedback or advice from anyone who’s made the transition and what roadblocks to expect knowing my resume will look very different than most applicants.
