Not a good time to join Nielsen RMS India bro. The company has been under a transition with no vision recently. This led to mass attrition even across covid periods. The company did not rehire to reduce the negative margins putting pressure on the existing resources which further led to 90% churn of employees in 2 years. Hardly any senior folk left to train the scarce new joinees. I would suggest to defer joining this company for a year or 2 to see if it survives this transition or becomes a titanic. 😊

You can leave, it's ok. Say the same to HR and move on. If you didn't perform well they would send you out that's the reason they keep Probation. It works both ways 😉

Ptobation period is for the same. If you dont like, you can leave, if they dont like, they will ask you to leave. Always remember, no one care about your success except you. Company hire you for their success, not for your career growth. So, take informwd decision and move ahead.

Salary hike is not that significant from here. Only reason is that I have worked a lot with nielsen database, I am familiar with their culture and role is also for senior position. I do understand it's really not ethical to leave a job this soon coz of money. I haven't made up mind yet. Thanks for ur comments.

I'm unable to understand please hindi me baat karo

How do you know ageism is happening to you? I've been interviewing ppl a lot the past couple of months so I think I know what a good resume looks like because I've seen hundreds of them. I'm looking for a new role myself and have applied to a few things that if I were the hiring mgr I'd prob want to talk to me but I'm not getting replies. I'm wondering if I should do an experiment and remove ~10-15 yrs of job history and the year I graduated and see if it makes a difference. Thoughts??

Was extended an offer for SC position at a smaller consulting firm. Originally asked for 130K base, offer given was closer to ~110K base with ~10K in performance bonus. When countering with desired 125K base, due to other opportunities, base was raised to 115K. Would be happier with 120K base, but is it worth pushing for?

So I’m sure I’m going to word this question/thought/feeling incorrectly so bear with me...but I am a person who has so much passion and energy (not a millennial - so using the term loosely) for their company, however not my role. I’ve applied to several internal positions both above and even below my pay-grade but am always met with rejection and it’s causing my spirit to decline. Should I be taking this as a sign I am not valued at my organization?

I’ve been offered an exciting role with Accenture, I have the contract sitting in my inbox to be signed, but my current employer KPMG are offering me a retention bonus and are guaranteeing me promotion next June/July. Could it be worth calling recruitment at Accenture to explain the situation and ask if they can do anything else for me, ie a sign on bonus… or at least to ask more questions around career progression etc? Could they reneg? I’m really stuck and can’t decide.

Hi fishes, I need referral for functional test planning tester role in accenture. Please reply if anybody are interested to

Hi Fishes, I have two questions and need your help: 1. Does HSBC provide bonus to those who are serving notice period?. I got an offer yesterday and thinking to put resignation but I have heard if you are serving notice period on March pay day then you will not be entitled for the annual bonus. 2. If suppose your 60 days of notice period is completing on Sunday then what will be the last working day. Will it be next working day I.e. Monday or last working day I.e. Friday?

I don't know how sustainable model is this? 50k as base pay only? That to if you look at the basic and pf amount ,it is just penny. Top of that , they will not provide any laptop. It just like someone contact type of work.. Surely will not join...if you are not sure your employee will get project or bench ,don't recruit them..

Physical therapists… What city do you practice in? How many years of experience? Current salary? What setting do you practice in? What are the differences in pay between different settings in your area (ie. outpatient ortho versus home care). Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.
