4th yr lit assoc: I left my last firm (because I knew it was on the verge of imploding) confident I’d quickly find another job. It’s been three months, and I was turned down by three firms for which I really thought I’d be a great fit. I know I have to keep going, but I’m finding it hard to keep putting myself out there, and I’m finding it even harder to believe I have anything to offer any firm rn. I’d appreciate any words of encouragement, dog pictures, pick-me-up ideas, etc. Thank you.

My sister-in-law is asking for a referral to my company but if I'm being honest I don't think she's a good fit and am worried she would make me look bad. I was noncomittal when she asked, but now she's got my wife on her side too. Am I being too harsh in not wanting to give the referral?

What’s the deal with working remotely permanently?

I see so many posts in other pages with people saving ~$1M, earning ~$250k+ and have multiple streams of income by the time they hit 30. As an immigrant in US who just finished his/her masters and in late 20s, what did I miss?

As a new hire, what’s the better approach? Go around looking (begging) for billable hours or sit tight at my desk for 8 hours a day and study for the CPA exam?
