I joined TCS last week for.
Exactly! And it's not a good idea to switch from your cloud profile.. so kind advice is to consider TCS. Atleast you have one more offer to back you up if u don't get projects in hexaware. I've heard alot of ppl in hexaware getting mapped to projects with different skillset when they r in bench for long! That mental trauma to get into project before company fires u is bad! Getting a different skill project is even more bad in longer run! It's not gonna add value to ur resume for your next jump... That too when you are in premium package slab...
Better take TCS offer before u get different skill project... Remove hexaware from your resume

Such frequent switches are not good, all onboarding with massive hikes are happening because of client pressure which service based companies are failing to meet. Clients business strategies do change over time and their exec decisions. Same thing can happen to your next organization better to spend 1 year so that it doesn't leave a patch in your resume.
TCS has lot many projects than hexaware. You could try checking for other projects in hexaware. If no, better take TCS offer n chuck off hexaware experience (roughly a month) from your career/resume.
Because in hexaware, if you don't get project that matches your skillset, they'll ask you to join ANY other skillset project, which could be RISKY!

Thats exactly my worry. I have been already ask to join some infrastructure maintenance and data migration projects which i declined. But not sure, how long can i do that. And would be in difficult situation if Hexaware dont have project for my skill. And as usually small companies pay higher but cant keep you on bench for more than month or two.
If you have joined at a managerial position don't worry they will figure out a way to allocate a service line or a project soon instead of it's a individual contributor I think risky staying on bench for a long time

I joined as Technical architect for IICS cloud. But now the role is on hold so i am not sure, what role I'll be put into.

I would say not to jump right away, instead wait for projects. Meantime try for more offers with better salary that matches your skillset. Keep TCS as last option

Agree with you my friend. But in my notice of 90 days hardly any company agreed to even pay 40% hike. I cleared interview for Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini. And had offers from LTI, Mindtree, Hexaware. So decided to join Hexaware as that was the best offer and project was on cloud. But unfortunately project went on hold and not getting opportunity for any IICS cloud role. So worried to loose my skill of cloud. Also i am thinking of joining TCS for their wide range of projects and not for job security.
Is 35 all fixed you are getting from Hexaware?
Chief
33.25 is fixed and 1.75 is variable pay. Variable pay is 5%.
what is the variable component for Hexaware and TCS?
Chief
Hexaware , just 5%.. around 1.75 lpa.
TCS : it's around 7 lpa including monthly and quarterly variable pay. Though monthly is like fixed pay and paid 100 💯 if 100% billable. And Quarterly variable pay is linked to individual, project, account, company performance.
hey, just curious what's the update
