McBee needs some wheelies

I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

What is their vision for the next couple of years?
Oooh this is a good question. I am adding this to my list. I have never thought to ask this.
Ask about how finance partners with the more broad HR organization. (HR, recruiting, and comp-if comp is a separate dept)
Do they have a separate Talent Acq team that’s part of HR, or do the generalists & mgrs have to recruit too (if this wasn’t spelled out in your job posting)? What are the biggest challenges with regard to Employee relations from a finance dept standpoint? Does payroll report to finance or to HR?
What’s some of the biggest priorities and focuses for the incumbent of this role?

For my company, they are under Finance but work closely with HR. I was just suggesting convo starters for OP 😇
Always try directing your questions to your strengths. Ask questions that you might suspect they can be interested in hearing from you about how you can add value.
Can’t go wrong about staff development- individual development, dept development and company development. All should coordinate towards the company’s vision
