How important is having a job title that specifies a focus in employment law in the context of salary and future job prospects? This is opposed to something general such as attorney or council. If I'm looking for a position in employment law with a general title on my resume, will perspective employers rule me out because of it? I just asked for a title change and I am not sure how hard to push for it.

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). For someone whose practice focuses almost exclusively on GDPR issues, how much prep is really needed for CIPP/E? I prepped extensively for CIPP/US (I felt over prepared) and want to add EU to my resume. I’m in house and farm a lot of work out to outside counsel, but am hoping to take on a bit more myself. I think the credential may help slightly. Does anyone know of the test has been updated post-Schrems and the recent new SCC and EDPB recommendations?

Hi I work in patient finance and I am desperately bored with my job. I have a bachelors which isn’t a requirement for my role. I have been applying non stop to jobs that do require a bachelors and I am qualified for. Either I don’t get called for an interview or when I do I’m not selected. I have followed up with some of the interviewers and they all told me I interview well. I am so tired of disappointment that I feel like giving up and just settling. I don’t know what to do.

I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience).
