I have accepted an offer for the role of Director of Data Science & Analytics and I'll be working with old colleagues. I am very excited. I haven't given notice yet because I am waiting for the background check to complete, but my boss just asked me about traveling to a meeting in November. I start at the new job Oct 25. How do I break into a commercial broker role? I see brokers at my firm working on HVAs everyday and am curious at home much they’re taking home yearly.

I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. I am going to counter but curious what anyone thinks I should ask for. I was thinking 8%.

I did not get a full time offer from my internship this past summer at a top consulting firm they told me on the second to last day. I have been trying to recruit at other consulting firms however haven’t received any offers yet. I struggle with severe depression and anxiety and often struggle with telling others when I struggle with it. I am having thoughts of ending it all because of the combined stress of school and now recruiting with little opportunities left.

I joined a bank as a business analyst 2 months back. I’m feeling that it’s more of a stagnant task for me though learning is there still i was much more happy with development. Now idk what to do because it’s 2 months, most companies i cannot apply before 6 months or a year maybe!

I have recently joined BIG3 firm as analyst . I was very excited before joining but the team I am being put in has all maintanence project. I can't ask for team change for atleast 6 to 8 months.

On a positive side I am put on one AI product project where I can do some analysis based on client queries. Mostly using pandas and cloud technologies.

I was thinking to enroll to scaler course to improvise my ML concepts in more depth and doing more projects.

Would it be the right move?

Got an offer from McKinsey as an analyst . They are giving ₹16.96 lpa base salary. How much of performance bonus can we expect from McKinsey?
