Any Aon pension actuaries who could help my friend understand the hierarchy of titles? Let’s say my friend has 10 years of experience, FSA and EA credentials, was a consistently high performer over his career, what would his expected title be at Aon within the core retirement actuarial business? Thanks in advance.

Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE
Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

Speak about your metrics!!!! If you cannot do this you won't get the job. Break down all of your metrics; this will make you look amazing. Additionally, they want to know the way that you recruit creatively! Any human with a pulse can spam people on LI Recruiter and hope it works out. Speak about your relationship building skills with stakeholders.
Be ready to discuss very specific success stories, and you don't want to say, "I was successful by rolling up my sleeves and working 60 hours." I have never said I'm a hard worker; I'm creative, and I get along with everyone. This means absolutely nothing to the interviewer because everyone says this. Instead, give specific examples when you exhibited these strengths.
Someone once asked me a great question. They asked, "What is the one major factor that differentiates the person who never gets the job from the person who gets an offer from every company they interview with?" I had some corny things that I could have responded with immediately, but I told him that I wanted to think on it for a day, and then I would give him a thoughtful answer. When I thought back to the people who were amazing, they all had one thing in common. They described what they did with a high level of specificity. They never spoke in theory, such as, "Great recruiters know how to build relationships, and they know how to network." Instead, they say. "I attend these specific events every month, and I have created these relationships, and I had one person refer 3 mobile developers which led to x company obtaining talent they had been struggling to find."
You should also never say this phrase that is overused and leads to your interviewer putting you into the "this person is not for us" box. "I'm a jack of all traits, master of none."
Every time I hear this, I will finish the interview, but I'm not moving the candidate forward. I've tracked it, and 0 of the candidates who say this end up getting an offer; it's the second biggest red flag in an interview. Good luck to you!

Google “Amazon behavioral questions”. There’s also tons of videos on YouTube. Brainstorm 2-3 work stories that demonstrate your mastery of each leadership principle. I’m not in HR so there might be additional HR/recruiting-related tips that other ppl can give you.
Good luck!! I’ve loved working here!
Thank you!
