I have never prospected from family or friends. My fear has been if something happens, which is supposed to happen (market pullback), it strains relationships. Anyone have success tho?

Not sure if this is an ADHD symptom or a form of avoidance that’s specific to me but since I’ve started working, I feel physically incapable of keeping up with my friendships and relationships, like the bandwidth is completely gone. I never felt this way in law school/ever before but now I’m going ages without responding to texts and I’m starting to really see some strong friendships fall to the wayside. The thing is if I had anything to give, I would!

Am I the only 1 that is just tired of all the activism? It’s not that I don’t agree with many of the causes or that I see Change is Needed and Action is Required to achieve it. It’s just I’m exhausted from the extreme passion of activism that seems to be never ending in the current era. Dads with older children: while raising your children, did your children prefer their moms over you? I know some will prefer dads over moms, but I assume majority of children out there will prefer their moms over dads… I have one child and it kinda hurts to see my child always preferring the mom over me. I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I just do. How did you cope with such issue raising your children?

Holidays are tough. It’s tough when your family outright ignores your coming out and doesn’t ask about your partner. It’s tough when they criticize you when it’s supposed to be a happy time.
