Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. I am not happy here, I never have been, I don't want that to come across in the review, and I just want to make it out of the meeting with a small amount of grace. My plan is to just nod along and say thanks, will work on. I am also insanely busy right now and this is the last thing I want to deal with.

We are wrapping up a deal and the parties basically want to do the deal ten more times, but in different flavors and for different items. While I would stick it out through closing of this first deal, is there a graceful way of getting out of doing the rest of the series? Not the biggest fan of my deal team; deal doesn’t contribute to development; it is a massive time suck that hurts my performance on other deals; and I have plenty of other fish to fry.
