Hi fishes,
I have given an interview with Infosys on 2nd July and currently in portal it shows the status as 'Review in Progress' .Could any one let me know how many days it usually takes to get an update or does this mean they are interviewing other candidates for the same role .I have mailed the HR but no response from him.
Appreciate your comments/ suggestions on the same.

Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

I feel TCS is the company to settle in future. They have weird rule of not hiring ex-tcsers. So it's better to have for future. You will have high take home, good job security, it's like govt job for IT ppl. You will have 15members for a stable support project. There will be guys around you like SBI bank employees. So enter as senior manager, enjoy your life with family well. This is my personal opinion.
W1 : Trust me, it doesn't works that way. TCS will prefer to reskill resources internally and once people see that there's no demand for their technology, they will eventually reskill.
I know people who have shifted technologies and domain post 15-20 years and they are at the top of their game
Tcs is very good company but As u know the tcs policy. It is good to join tcs when you have satisfied salary and want to seat back and relax.
As per your experience I think you should have not join tcs at this stage.
Does it matter in this case? You have already declined the offer. Now, make the best of your TCS role.
Reason is cts still asking to join even after I dropped mail im not interested.i feel guilty. If I know I would be getting tcs offer i wouldn't have given cts interview

If you have accepted tcs offer and then not going to join, will that cause any adverse impacts? I am not sure about this. If no impacts, then join cts and then join tcs later on.

Actually i was already offered job in tcs 3 yrs back and declined. so I dont want to do that same mistake again.anyway after seeing lot of suggestions I feel safe that I made right call🙂.thank you
