Work for a small consulting company. I have no training in how to speak to senior leadership and haven’t been in meetings I could’ve learnt from - totally ok. Was asked to present work to a VP by my client and it went horribly. Now the client wants me off the project. My manager was in the meeting but didn’t step in. The client called the partner. 😔 Other than the presentation everything had been going great and the client was very happy. I’m worried about how this will impact me in the future.
