I have one doctor prescribing adderall and went to a different one for Zoloft. Is there any reason I would need to consolidate doctors? Each specialize in the respective field so feel fine having two.

Does anybody else feel the need to work on projects with tangible applications/results? When I work on financial/IT work, I feel like the numbers are all floating in the air and don't really make a difference. On supply chain projects, I don't feel so much like I'm treading water because things are physically being moved and progress is easily measurable.

do you guys just...not know what you want?
so far my career has gone pretty well just spontaneously applying for things that have sounded interesting.

Now, my current company is very supportive and wants to help my career plan - problem is I have no plan because I don't know what I want to do, and I can't choose what I want to do because I don't know what I like. my stupid brain cannot form an opinion based on anything other than what I did that exact day.

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

I started taking Adderal, 2.5 g which is not really a lot. It didn’t really help with my focus, instead I felt restless and somehow nervous and really thirsty. And it made me clench my teeth. I do grind my teeth during nighttime but never experienced this in the daytime. Does it take time to get used to it?

I am always embarrassingly late to the office/client site in the mornings.

It seems to be a combo of only going in 1-2 times a week so I can’t get a routine and general time blindness. I do take my meds first thing so I’m able to at least complete getting ready tasks one by one…

Any and all advice welcome!

One method I’ve found helpful in developing solid “soft skills” in Big 4 consulting is to deeply educate myself across the field of social engineering. The book I started with first was, “Human Hacking” by Chris Hadnagy. The applicable knowledge I’ve gained has been invaluable. Way more valuable than anything I read from “Trusted Advisor” guidance. Thoughts?
