Newly promoted experienced hire SC making $113k, 10 YOE (switched industries). Got an offer from TCS in an Advisory practice (not the tech sweatshop stuff that I keep seeing people mention). Base salary is $190k and in TCS equivalent of a M role. Downside to taking the salary hike and boomeranging back to D in ~2 years? FYI - I have 2 kids, so that kind of pay raise is kind of a big deal.
Does it make sense to go from Manager position at one of Big-4 to McKinsey Implementation as Implementation Coach? Really enjoy doing org design and change management stuff.
So our school board just fired our principal last tonight. He was terrible for the last five years but decided now would be a good time. Our head secretary who has been here for 30 years took a different position at another site two weeks ago because of that principal. We start school in three weeks with no principal, no head secretary, and no schedule for distance learning. Please pray for me 😐
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Need refferal for Azure+java position..
New to this. Is it typical for a firm to ask a staff to do the work of a senior for a year to show that they are ready for a promotion?
New to options so appreciate the help in advance- have bought call options OOM - earnings is tomorrow - currently would make profit if I sold- but expecting good news tomorrow that would raise the underlying price. Multiple people are saying you should sell before earnings because the options price may actually go down - can someone explain if this is accurate and why?
Anyone here on the tech side of PwC? Someone from PwC reached out to see if I'm interested in a QA Manager role. How good is the quality engineering practice in PwC? Also what's the range like for QA Managers?

Can anyone tell me if PwC's non-client-serving Director role is the same rank as an EY Director? Or, is it more like an EY Associate Director?
I am currently working at a big 4 in Strategy and Business Transformation practice. I recently came across the job of a S&O Manager role at Global Business Strategy. TBC
I need some advice on deciding to leave my job. At my current job I’m up for promotion in 5 months and pretty confident I will get the 25% raise, however I’m very unfulfilled and feel like I’m wasting my time staying at the company. On the other hand I have an unofficial offer that will automatically give me that 25% raise in a project I care about, but after discussing negotiations 25% is the cap. Should I stick it out and then jump into the job market for more % raise or leave now?
Just got an offer for a remote role at a company where everyone will be transitioning to in person soon and I'd be one of the only remote people. This gives me pause and I'm worried about how progression and interaction will work. Any tips for evaluating the opportunity?
Does anyone have experience interviewing or working with Anaplan? I’d appreciate any insights! Having an interview for a Program manager role soon.
Hi All. What platform or consulting firm would you recommend to help a company build out a new and improved onboarding process that emphasizes on training in the IT space (Manage Service Provider)? Once the orientation with HR is completed and the hand off of the new hire to the manger takes place is gap in proper training on the role ans technology's (sales and IT dept). The new management team has been in place for for over a year. Nothing has ever been in place prior for them to work off of
I work at a mid tier firm in an audit group of ~20 people. We’ve recently had two seniors and a manager leave, and I just found out another senior with a ton of big jobs is leaving in three weeks. I also just found out I’m being promoted to senior with a raise of 10%. In light of all these departures though, I kind of want to ask for more.... should I? And what % raise is appropriate? Any insight appreciated!
How does experienced hiring (generally) work in consulting? Are there cycles similar to campus recruiting or is it year-round? Got laid off a few weeks back and the job hunt has been frustrating
What mid-career compensation (at age 45 or so) can I conservatively expect if I pursue Corporate Strategy, and exit at the Manager/PL/EM level? Currently at 31 years of age

What are the topics that I should focus on for an Interview in Infosys for the position of Data Scientist with 3.9 Total YOE of which Data Science Experience is 1.5 YOE ? Is the knowledge of MLOps, DVC, Model Version necessary for interview?

What's the normal/average percentage of performance bonus paid out at KPMG global services?
Thoughts on Indexed Universal Life Insurance as an investment vehicle? I hear the pros and cons from the sellers of this, whom I understand gain heavy commissions. But wanted to get thoughts from investors and if this isn't a good vehicle, what alternative investment vehicles do you suggest (outside of stocks, Roth, 401k, and real estate)? Looking to diversify my portfolio. I'm 43, married, income 600k combined, and we have 2 properties worth 3m and investment accounts worth ~2-3m. Thanks!
Any recommendations for a career coach? I'm a mid-level looking towards promotion to senior associate so looking for coaching on management and bd (but not opposed to advice on exit opportunities, just don't know much about intentionally charting a career path beyond stick it out at the firm) Cross posting, I'm a WOC (Asian)
I have the opportunity to move to a small boutique data science and data engineering consulting firm that would pay better with less hours. However, would it stunt my growth without a big 4 tag? It has more opportunities for technical growth and certifications but will push me into a more specialized role. I am mostly worried about the trade off between staying until Manager or upper senior and cashing out then. Does anyone have insight on how the two may differ in future career opportunities?
Do any other firms offer pension like EY does? And what are the terms? I know EY recently changed the retirement plan but we are still fully vested after 5 years

Legit question: now that 90% of you all don’t have an expense account or travel, why are you doing consulting? Wlb and pay are shit, professional dev opps are good but can be developed in 2-3 years - so why not leave after
