I have primarily been an execution PM and lack the initial strategy / market fit / A/B testing pieces. What are some good resources or online courses (free/paid) to solidify my understanding on the same

A great place to start is to pick up Melissa Perri's book, "Escaping the Build Trap." It won't get you into the tactical stuff like A/B testing statistical significance, but it's a great book for understanding at a high level how to go from pure product execution to thinking about product vision, strategy, and experimentation.

Thanks! Will look into it

My go-to product book is "Inspired" by Marty Cagan.

Check out Stratechery. Won't have A/B testing, etc but lots of interesting, high level analysis and strategy

I have an offer at faang (400k +rsu), also fully remote but this group really makes me feel it's a mistake to leave.

Being a technical PM feels like I have less ownership.
All decision making is done in the presence of engineering and data science. In addition to that there is another PM that actually leads the UI of our overall application so often times they are the ones directly interacting with a user and giving us requirements very much in a waterfall way. Is this the nature of technical product management or there’s something that I’m not doing right?
