I have put down my resignation on 3rd october and got acknowledgement mail. I have applied 10 leaves on December on the same day and the supervisor approved it and it is showing as approved leaves in the system. My question is would my LWD be extended because of this ? I am yet to receive the resignation acceptance mail with theke LWD mentioned.Tata Consultancy

I am a young and a woman of color. I am an incoming associate at an established firm in a relatively small city (~80k population). I like the firm very much. I am, however, the only woman of color at my firm. I grew up on the nearby reservation. I have recently been vocal about a local business changing its name. Anyone know if there’s a workaround way to get access to a 24h therapy phone line through Kaiser? Seems like they don’t offer talk therapy by phone which is a real bummer if you’re physical distancing or travel often. I’m open to learning about non-Kaiser options as well that have great therapists and ideally are easy on my wallet. I think my dream therapist would be someone who’s also trained as a dating coach (maybe someone like Brooke Sprowl in LA except covered in network)

Does a WFH/remote jobs really exist? I don’t want to travel again but having a hard time finding jobs locally or remote roles without taking a huge pay cut..

Are recruiters worth more than L&D specialists? We have a new recuiter that transferred in from another dept. & is already making more than me and has a higher comp range. We have same tenure & they have NO prev. recuiting experience. I should also add I have been helping cover recuiting in interim. I also help cover HR tasks, have my SHRM, 5 years of HR exp., and 2 degrees. Is the "value" for recruiters more than L&D? I feel a little taken advantage of, but want to know if I'm off base here.

Yesterday was a good day. I was really impressed with myself. I woke up at 5, practiced dance lessons, did two water colors, made breakfast and tea, got to work by 10, put in 8-10 hours of solid work and then came home. It’s been ages since I painted or danced.
However today, I slept till 7:00, did not work out or have food. Still got to work by 10 and did 8 solid hours of work.
Some days are good and some are just okay. And that is okay. Trying to build on my good days and we all can. :)
