I have received 2 offers: one from Guidehouse as a Senior Consultant and one from ClearView as a Senior Analyst.

I have 2 questions:

1) Is senior consultant at Guidehouse a higher position than senior analyst at Clearview?

2) Which one would you choose considering that I intend to work ~2 years in consulting to exit to a BD role in a biotech/pharma?

A recruiter at another B4 gave me a number much lower than what I’m currently making. Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. A CRO offerred me an internal consulting/biz dev role. They offered 145k TC (20% bump) and slightly better benefits. They also offered accelerated path (6mo to 1yr) to MC. While promotion to MC at my current company is at least 1 year away. The job is interesting to me and fits my careery goal. But my big concern is that I've only been with my current company for a year (this is my first job, post PhD). Would this affect my resume in the future in terms of being viewed as "job hopping"?
