To be sure, I applied for a role with the same language. I don't need sponsorship, but a friend does. We both got offers. For the right person, in the right role, the firm will sponsor. If you were clear from the start about needing sponsorship, you should be OK. Could take a very long time, though.
It means that Deloitte will not hire you for this role. It means that Deloitte will not sponsor now or in the future - not that they will now be able to hire you.
Sorry if I was not clear enough. I am wondering if there are precedents where Deloitte has hired despite sponsorship requirements. Please share your experience?
I'm surprised that they even said they won't sponsor, because in general we do pick up Visas. We didn't for a brief time during covid, but normally we do. Make sure you clarify and don't accept unless they sponsor if that's what you need
They may not be able to sponsor for certain roles (e.g. certain GPS roles) but they can still hire you for another role. They are one of the largest sponsor of H1B.
Ultimately you will be effed as they will forever delay your GC process…. Don’t come here if you are a non immigrant. 15% extra hike and a failed H1B extension is a repeated story in Deloitte
Hi Folks/Deloitte I already had an HR call and a technical interview and now I am being invited to "Virtual Recruiting Days". What does that mean? What's the goal of this event? Thanks!

That was helpful. Thank you.

Then why don't you just confirm with your HR point of contact to see if it makes sense to move forward?
