I joined TCS 1.5 years back only in Oct20 as an Asso Consutlt (C3B).
in Jan22, I appeared for Tech Mah interview process and got selected as a Project Manager position, they have offered me 40% hike.
Currently I am on notice period, resigned from TCS last month but still not very convinced with my decision there is still a 2nd thought like whether should I join TechM (obviously bcoz of leaving TCS and its facilities, job security and no hire back policy).
Please guide me.

Recently I had given couple of interviews for a company and after 10 days, HR had called me and told that my feedbck is positive. They just wanted me to join early but my notice period is 2 months and they were ready to buy me out,. I told them that there is possibility but it depends on my company’s current resources. So we discussed salary and HR asked me to sent my current salary details. I have gt an update from HR that it will take some to get the approval. How long it might take?Amazon IBM Tata Consultancy
My joining is on Dec 13th …for the last 3 mondaysI will be receiving some mail from tcs like mails about what they are doing and a reminder mail for my joining date but today didn’t get any mails ….when I can expect the joining details in mail…like welcome mail from tcs ?? Tata Consultancy
In ibegin Gratuity fund form there's declaration "My father is dependent on me" and you select yes or no accordingly.Now when u download it as pdf the declaration is "my father is not dependent on me" but the answer is same as you provided in the portal.Anyone noticed this inconsistency and how are you guys proceeding ?

If he's looking for you to retain then, yes you can. Apparently that's how they consider for retention. Based on CTC in hand and original offer letter. Else if it's for his knowledge then no need to give details, you don't owe that.
You can give percentage hike and say i will discuss details with HR.It is ok to sayl that you cannot disclose salary . Retention discuss ion will happen with HR

Yes it’s normal based on your skill sets you’ll get call for onshore opportunities but I doubt they will offer any good hike.
@ OP- Any update on retention?
I got msg from HR, after waiting for 3 months on this retention thing, that corporate team is no longer accepting any retention cases, you can go ahead with your exit formalities *facepalm*
No Update yet , they just asked all info..And just asked if I will stay in Tcs or not. But no call again.
This is standard practice now a days since lot of employees are resigning. You can give these details, no problem in that. Retention is good solution for TCS but you don't stop exploring other opportunities outside.
