Depends on what your objective is. If it's money, then wait till you have the second offer in hand to negotiate. If you need a new job soon and need a decision (and firm #2 is your top choice), you can mention it to get them to speed the process up
Also, don’t wait and reach out to #2 asap so if they want you they can act quickly
Op - don’t wait and let #2 about your other offer asap so they can expedite their process if they really want you. You never know, they might give you even more lucrative offer. Then you can choose in-between. If they don’t act then that means they were not so much in to you…

They are not competitors they are both in the financial industry but thats all
