What does your employment contract state? I would reference that, calculate out the days and then send an email to your manager saying something like, "based on my employment contract, I am calculating that X date will be my LWD. Can you please confirm that this is accurate so that I know for my records?" That will not be offensive.
Ideally you should have sent lwd as part of resignation email..example if its 60 days, then calcualte the date and mention in the email
Just mentioned HR in the same mail CC that’s should be good
Ideally, you should have your notice period mentioned in your joining letter. Refer that and count it from the day you sent resignation to ur manager...
It's 60 days. But manager must reply to the mail and send a date right?
It would take time. Why don't you reply him with your suitable last date and mention that unless you reject this by xx date I would consider this as final
No no. He might take it as an offense. I resigned yesterday, shall I wait for few more days and then ask about my LWD?
I'm very confused by this - he doesn't really get to decide your LWD, that's up to you. I just resigned as well, and I wrote in the email 'my last working day will be XX Dec 2022'. Like the others said, just calculate from when you sent the email. I don't really get the point of asking your manager
