Based on hiring freeze would you consider Product Technology Manager (technical solutions consultant ladder) as “critical function” ? I’m done with all my interviews, was told that my rounds were “really positive” and HR would come back to me in 2-3 weeks after completing final rounds of other candidates. I’m optimistic, but still do you see that that this role might still survive as its technical?

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year.
