Unlike Deloitte, office culture is integral part of the experience at the Firm.

funny

Op- I know that most of the responses on this app are burns/ witty / sarcasm / straight up aholes.. ( my self included sometimes) But this one is more of me stating a fact. I worked at Deloitte for a while before moving to Mckinsey.

It depends on the role and the expertise you are bringing. I joined McKinsey as an experienced hire and lived in a city without a McKinsey office. I did not relocate and that was built into my employment contract

This is really going to depend what role you come in as. The only major downside is that you won’t be able to network with folks in the office and at the firm your network is literally everything. Plus it’ll probably feel pretty lonely just knowing the firm based on whatever study(ies) you’re working on.

How far is the closest office to you?

Denver, I live in outside Phoenix. So it’s not too bad! Could be a lot worse.

Fish Friends, what are the foods and recipes that you've started adopting in the COVID world? I'll start with my super easy flatbread pizza, improvised due to laziness and a lack of yeast and baking materials available. 2 cups of flour and a half cup of water. Add a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil and knead. Then you just roll it out as thin as possible and add whatever you want! Anything! Bacon? Onions? Peppers? Mozzarella? Chuck the whole thing in a 500F oven for like 18-22 min.
