I’ve been helping couples navigate the challenges of infertility for over 20 years now. Recently, I’ve noticed more couples feeling apprehensive to continue treatment because they are worried about potential repercussions if they miscarry during the IVF process. Honestly, I’m not sure how to reassure them because I also feel afraid, but I just want to continue supporting these wonderful couples & families. I would be heartbroken if they ended up suffering more because of their treatments. I’m just feeling so conflicted & sad today after meeting with a couple who decided to postpone treatment.

At this moment, I am almost depressed. I am in a relationship with this guy for 2 years now. In the past 2 years, we have fought more than we have lived days with peace. We both have high ego problems because of which it’s really hard to resolve a conflict. Things have recently escalated to calling names/swearing and even physically abuse from both sides. We both want to end the relationship, have tried so many times, but we cannot.

I’m being let go. It came as a surprise because my time with the company I’ve gotten positive feedback. A couple of weeks ago my boss told me that I was being put on a 30 day performance review plan. The last 2 weeks I’ve gotten positive feedback about improvement but on Thursday my boss decided to cut the review plan short and give me an end date. Tough IVF mama warriors, would you start a new job in the middle of your stim cycle (fresh transfer)? What reasons would you give to the potential employer so you start 2-3 days after your transfer day?
It’s about a 3 week gap on the proposed start date to when i wrap up the ivf/transfer. I don’t want to jeopardize my ivf since transitioning into a new job can be stressful and I wasn’t successful in the last round. I am almost kicking myself for trying to pursuit a new career while ivf. 😕😔
