Yep it can be paralyzing at times. I was there. Dealing with anxiety. Prioritize is all you can do. Also note the difference between actual work and perceived work. Sometimes we get that mixed up in our heads, whenever you finally do prioritize. That will help the chronological order of the list.

Validating an idea I had: Childcare loans for working parents. The loans are given to the parents to pay for daycare/nanny/other types of childcare. As the kids grow older, the expenses for childcare drop dramatically. At that point the parents can pay off the loan with a small amount of interest.
Affordable childcare is a pain, and the idea is to make it affordable by deferring payments over a longer horizon.

If audit firms are truly meant to be impartial when auditing companies, why haven’t regulating bodies regulated audit fees. That way the choice between firms would be based on service and expertise rather than fees. It could be something as simple as a base of the % of the average market cap over the last 3 years and then adjusted for industry or other factors.

Additional Posts in ADHD Consultants

Long one - one of my best friends (10+ years) and I had a drink last week, I told her of my recent ADHD diagnosis and how we had noticed the generational trend (my mum & grandad as very similar symptoms wise and they acknowledge this, but not diagnosed). The friend mentioned her therapist has suggested she may had ADHD (inattentive type) - she then told me a few things like how she's absolutely neurotypical and she's never associated herself with neurodiversity etc, she made a ... How much would a 30 day supply of Vyvanse (30mg) cost me after insurance? I know this is going to vary by plan but I'm still curious as to know how expensive of a medication this is.

My pharmacy informed me that the insurance will not cover without authorization from the psych. My psych was wary about this & instead suggested Ritalin during my session. He mentioned that insurance companies want us to first try Ritalin because they are generally cheaper. How much truth is there to this? Thanks!

Any good ADHD psychiatrist in the Bay Area? My previous psychiatrist wasn’t a good fit

I've always had trouble with things like attention, focusing, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. I started to feel hopeless, feeling burnt out (even worse than my old job). I spend hours diverted when I know I should get work done. I decided to get an evaluation after learning a lot more about ADHD. I was diagnosed as Primarily Inattentive and they are starting me on meds immediately. Will things get better from here? Will, I finally become a productive human being? Should I tell my manager?
