Thank you for the necessary and relevant information about your body. 🙄
It's necessary and relevant because people with pre-existing health conditions (obesity being one of them) are supposed to be prioritized per the CDC's distribution plan. The guilt stems from his overall very good health. If he thought he were unhealthy or otherwise at risk, this wouldn't be a post in the first place.
If you were 16% body fat I would suggest you consider it but at 15% you should be good!
Well played sir

I say do it OP. You’ll be helping with the overall mass vaccination effort and people should blame the healthcare provider instead if they want to talk about priority patients vs. the rest of us
Agreed with this. Every vaccination helps the world, might as well take it if offered.
I wouldn’t feel guilty. They are prioritizing groups who have no business being at the front of the line anyways, so it’s an everyone for themself situation. Your health>>>>>public shaming
This x100
I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Why do you want it? There’s such things as side effects or adverse events. You need to decide if the risk of the vaccines is worth a reduced chance of severe covid.
You couldn’t pay me to take that vaccine without long term testing having been done
Go for it. Read that several vaccines are disposed off at the end of the day ( the ones that are already thawed, but not administered). Your decision could add meaning to a vaccine that would instead end up in trash.

More needles in arms is better than less needles in arms. Don't be a martyr and get the damn vaccine.
Sounds like Stringer Bell has entered the chat.
We’re missing some other key pieces of information. i.e., blood type, SSN, favorite ice cream flavor, etc.

Well if you feel guilty just don’t schedule the appointment.

Amazing question = Amazing feedback
Absolutely get it. I’m in a similarly young and healthy but was given the opportunity after a significant number of people ahead of me opted out. No regrets, especially since I’m now fairly certain that vaccine would have been wasted.
If legal, through the normal channels, take it. Only caveat, if you can, wait for a month to see if you have a choice to take JNJ jab
1 shot as opposed to 2 shots

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it 🤷🏼♂️
In AZ you can volunteer to help at vaccinating locations (think registration, parking) and be able to receive the vaccine in return.
There are tons of spots available here, man are at crazy hours though. I have signed up for next week, so we will see!
Yes get the vaccine if offered. Right now it's about getting it to as many people as possible.

I’m in the same boat. Just in my 20s. I’m not getting it unless I end up being required to. I wouldn’t feel guilty. This vaccine hasn’t been around long and I don’t take lightly to putting something in my body
I feel it is a no-brainer and you are unnecessarily complicating it. Don't confuse being fit with immunity against COVID. Take the vaccine if it offered to you IF you believe the vaccine is good for you. Sure there may be higher risk groups who have not been offered the vaccine yet, but you choosing not to get the vaccine does not increase their likelihood of doing so at this point and just puts you more at risk of being infected. I'd say everyone has a collective social responsibility at this point to wear masks, practice social distancing and get vaccinated to eventually slow/stop the spread of COVID.
Great response, thank you
Weird flex, but ok
Ok but height and weight? If you’re under 180 don’t wanna hear about your body fat
Have you been antibody tested? I'd do that first if you have a moral dilemma, or just want to make sure that it would even be worthwhile to get the vaccine.
You can get antibody tested for free if you donate blood.
Wow, thanks for this. Just signed up with red cross to donate
100% support you getting it. Your having it will help others. Just need shots in arms at this point. Thank you in advance!
