I have two credit cards, but have only used one since I’ve been staying at home more and spending less.

Will my credit score be negatively impacted if I don’t use a card for weeks/months?

I wouldn't worry about a few quiet months; doesn't affect credit. Credit companies don't close credit lines for lack of use until you haven't used it for like a year or more; that's what impacts your credit score because your ratio of debt to available credit shifts. But a few months of $0 is nothing to worry about.

No. What matters is your total credit utilization across all cards, not how much you use on any individual card.

Naw

Nope if you're really worried just alternate the cards at the grocery store each week

pros/cons of buying a (pre-war) condo in nyc from an investment standpoint? building has great financials, well constructed and maintained, under ~$600 sq ft., good size, 3.25% rate. cons: in an up and coming neighborhood of brooklyn, so only a handful of restaurants + cafes nearby compared to more bustling parts, needs a full kitchen reno, one bathroom only (2 bed/1 bath). will be my primary residence for the foreseeable future, but hoping to build equity to buy a bigger place down the line.

I only contribute 3% to my 401k & everyone thinks im nuts. Here is my rationale: when I retire, I am expecting to be in a higher tax bracket than I am currently. Hoping to build a RE portfolio with passive income. Currently I am saving/investing 60% of my net income so its not like I am saving less by only contributing 3%. The measly match (subject to vesting) is not really worth it imo. I would rather pay tax now and have the liquidity of having that money in a brokerage account. Thoughts?
