I just made the same decision. I chose the option that is good for my soul. This year has taught me that life is short. You can’t get the time back in the future. Best of luck- I know it can be a tough choice. Do what’s best for you.

How old are you? I only ask because I was much more tolerant of crap in my 20s and it’s a great time to suffer for a chance to build wealth. Unfortunately in my twenties I was being paid $14 an hour to suffer!
It depends upon where you are in your career. In addition to how each will feel immediately, you should consider which will be better for your long term goals. Is the soul job following a path you will want to continue for the next 20 or 30 years, and if not, will it create a legal foundation that is strong enough to get to you to where you want to go next? Ask the same if the job that is good for your wallet.

So many factors to consider here. The obvious choice would be “good for your soul,” but what’s the big differences between the two jobs? What makes the “good for your wallet” one not as good for your soul? Something to consider would be where the “good for your wallet” job could potentially lead you in your career—might eventually lead you to a job that’s good for your soul and your wallet.
Go for your soul. In the end you'll be glad you did.

In principle, the one that’s good for the soul. This being said, are there other factors which differentiates the 2 opportunities? Or conversely are they similar in some respects i.e. prestige, type of work, clients etc? Also how bad on your soul is the one with the high salary and how bad for your wallet is the one that’s good for your soul? In the long term, could choosing the one good for soul cause issues? In 10 years, would you regret losing your sanity/health more than you would regret not having more money?
