They still never took money out of my account that I transferred a year ago. I’ll stay as long as that money is there

Close your dealings with Wells Fargo. Have you seen the way they treat their customers? The culture is to treat their customers as dumb rubes. Merely remaining there means you agree.

People stay at their incumbents bank because of inertia, convenience, and lack of compelling reasons to move. Why switch to another bank, do all the paperwork, update direct deposit at work, get new cards, change other direct deposit settings, learn a new site/app and other stuff if the next bank isn't materially better for what you want and need? Retail banking seems relatively commoditized, and the payoff from moving may not be super great.

My Truth: I recently left a large firm with great pay, terrible culture, & subtle racism for a small firm, bad pay, & great/open culture. Already looking like one of my better career decisions. (cont)

Not loving the big 4 world after coming from a boutique due to lack of visibility, schmooziness, bad resources and people farm mentality. Thinking of going indep with offers of 200/hr+ exp. thoughts?

To my enlisted military and first generation immigrants peers, keep hustling you’re gonna make it. Just got offer of 170k. Went to a shitty city college and parents never made more than 40k combine their whole lives. I can finally let my parents, wife, and kid enjoy life instead of working to live. Pix below is how much I made my last two years in the army e-5 pay grade, this is from SSA chart.

Other than a % of URM in total or in a hired class, what metric should we be using to measure the “health” or “success” of racial/ethnic diversity in large organizations?

Great. I was already on blast for my soul patch and now someone at the client is saying I gave them crabs. This week couldn't get any worse.

Looking to recruit a partner or mid-level associate and care particularly about work quality, culture fit, and tech proficiency (though, I guess, who doesn’t?). Suggestions on best way to source recruiting leads and use the interview process to vet candidates? Am willing to pay market salary comp with above market incentive pay, so hoping that we can cast widely.

What’s an account supervisors salary like? 🙇🏽‍♀️

Graduated in 2014. Make 150k as a manager now. Looking for Corporate Strategy roles in f500. What should I shoot for for total comp?

So I posted on LinkedIn that our firm was hiring, and a friend responded asking for a referral. They are a great person and friend, but an awful worker…what would you do here? I don’t want to be an a$$hole but I also don’t feel good about putting my reputation on the line by referring them.

Looking at EY for Sr Manager level role. I see that 401k match is low. But they have a pension plan. Can anyone throw some light on how it works ? Is it worth it? How do the contributions grow over 2, 5, 10 years ?

Hey everyone, just want your honest opinion. I'm a young professional working in NYC in marketing. I've been here for almost 3 years and am feeling like others are getting compensated way more than me. My peers are making much more than me when we speak about compensation but obviously they don't give me the exact number but I can just tell. Does anyone have any insight on how much a professional with 3-4 yrs should be making. I know it depends on the type of work you do obviously but a ballpark

Heading to San Diego to ~remote work~ in October. Any recommendations (assuming the state is in slightly better shape than now)?

How do you decide your breakdown of pre- and post-tax retirement account contributions? I put in 10% of salary post and 6% pre (ACN match) but no idea if this is appropriate.

Interviewing with PWC digital risk solutions group - any pointers on what I can expect or any knowledge from people who are familiar with the DRS group. Input on company culture would also be great.
