Have you tried white noise to help you sleep? I have a white noise app on my phone and I turn it on before I go to bed, the app has a timer to shut off after an hour and 90% when I use the app, I am asleep before it turns off. Works well when traveling too, since I always have my phone with me.
I need the tv too but I just use my laptop to watch Netflix. Have you tried that?
Have you tried exercising? I had the same.thing a few years ago, and the only thing that worked for me was running. Found it quietened the mind.
Put the tv in your bedroom
Read a book in bed instead?
Try melatonin. It'll help reset your circadian rhythm.
