I hear HCA hospitals in Houston are no good for new grad nurses. Is this true?

I have Cleared the TCS Interview and all my TR, MR, HR is done by last Thursday. Got a Call from HR same day itself that he is preparing my CTC sheet and he will be sharing it as soon as he Gets Approval from Business. Its been a Week and my documents as well are Verified but haven’t got any email regarding offer. Have followed up with HR and he told that he is still waiting for some Business approval. Not sure if my profile will go ahead or do I need to wait for some more time.

I want to set myself up for success by going through a nurse residency program (as my first RN job). I want thorough training. However, I’ve lost some of my enthusiasm about nursing. I’ve been questioning if its really for me. It’s mostly the lack of confidence in my people skills and low stress tolerance. I did very well in school but I didn’t get enough clinical exposure because of the pandemic. I keep talking myself out of applying since I don’t think I’ll interview well with this mindset.

To work as a pediatric or NICU nurse as a new grad do you have to obtain all the certifications on your own or will the hospital provide/pay for it?

I’ve been an excellent employee at my current job for 2+ years. The practice runs smoothly because of me and the doctor says he doesn’t think we’d survive without me. However I’ve started looking at what all is out there and realizing I’m no longer paid at market value and now have experience. I brought this up to management and was met with very poor feedback, weren’t even willing to sit down with me. How do I approach this? I’m an RN in an outpatient pulmonology practice.

I’m a Vascular access nurse/ PICC line Nurse in Illinois . I’m wondering if there are other piccline line nurses here and how much they are making hourly or annually , I am salaried @ 90k per year .

Honestly why are other nurses so mean and standoffish. Nurse is mad that her assignment changed meanwhile I always get a hard assignment and took her attitude out on me. I used to look up to her but that threw me off . Advice please
