Just messaged you :-)
Do you have premium and turned on “actively looking” feature?
I would upgrade to premium. I typically received 2-3 messages a month before, but now that I have premium and ‘actively looking’ turned on I get a lot more messages
I didn't get calls until a few years into my career. I think it had something to do with the experience, the titles, the companies, and the skills/endorsements. I ONLY list company, title and dates. No descriptions. I'm not recommending the approach, just explaining why I think the recruiters didn't reach out earlier in my career (didn't start with big names or big titles in marketing or consultant)
Also try expanding location. Call greater New York even if you live in NJ
Definitely upgrade to premium job seeker and add specific specialties in your intro. Change your headline to what you actually do, not just a title. The algorithm will favor premium and favor non-automatic title headlines with a physical sort rule, it’s really that simple.
Premium did help me when I was jobless last year, but it’s not what got me the job I wanna make that very clear. If you have the funds for it it could be useful if done right for a few months.
