I am prior military and went to law school. I had a family to take care of while I was a student, hence I went as fast as possible to get to a paycheck, graduating in 2 years, and bypassing the standard summer clerkships. How could I get some experience strictly remote? I am w-2 working as an accountant in healthcare, have passed the bar and am working on my CPA license (studying starts at 3 am, then work FT). Anyone here adopt a puppy during the infertility struggle? Husband and I considering it to have something positive throughout this situation and thinking the extra companionship would be helpful. I work from home. Husband has had many family dogs and lots of experience with it, I’ve had a family cat before. But not sure if it’s actually a good idea - wondering if it would truly help make us feel better and keep our minds off of the struggles or if it would just add extra stress. Thoughts?

If WFH stays after vaccine(maybe split 50/50 with office and WFH) do you think that will have some major impacts on our economy?  our economy is based off of people spending money not saving. I think of all the lunch, coffee, happy hour, dry cleaning etc spending we used to do.

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Or can I actually find a senior PMM role that allows a bit more room to breathe?
