Leave now. He’s a poor leader, unlikely to provide development for you or others and will likely do more damage to the business than help.
I’d start searching immediately.

If the first answer resonates, ok.
If not, ruuuuuuuuun.
Why running might be better:
- if he doesn’t have the time to onboard newcomers, why is he sourcing juniors anyway? Not enough money? If so, again run.
- or does he consider that a high resources rotation is part of the business model his so called code? If so, again run.
- or is he expecting a junior to demonstrate a partner’s level at the cost of a junior? If so, again, run.

Best managers I have seen had no issue sharing, teaching or mentoring.

Since you mentioned crypto as the business market, I would advise you to seek another position immediately the reason being that bitcoin lost a third of its value and that that guy seems not to be able to handle pressure. It such case, leaving before being terminated in an excess of anger would be wiser for you.

Fact is if you are considering leaving, it means that you subconscious is telling you to get the hell outta there. Listen to yourself: your question is not about if you leave or not. It’s about when to leave.
And it should be ASAP in such case.
Time is much more than money. Don’t waste it.

Depending on how early stage, you wouldn't want resources that you need to develop. You would need heavy hitters that can deliver cutting edge tech potentially when you don't even know how to get it done.

Get out of there. Don't fall victim of thinking you need to stay for a set period of time (1 year mark). In the interview, tell the truth that it isn't the right fit and you realized that and are ready to move on.
