Anyone here in IB restructuring willing to share tips and good resources to use to prep for an upcoming interview? I don’t have IB/finance experience but took a modelling course on wallstreetprep. Also, I am planning on studying the HL case study and read the interview guides on restructuringinterviews.com. Lastly, If you can share what the interview was like for you, that would be appreciated. TIA

Going back to office will be worse - you’re going to waste 1-1.5 hours in the morning getting reads and commuting, another 30 min at night coming home. You can’t shower or work out or do laundry until you get home so you’re losing all that time you’re doing that now during the day or whenever you have down time.
Just learn how to ask for help; as long as the questions are reasonable no one will complain. If it's not a good time, they will tell you.
You get so much more autonomy over your life by working from home. Make the most of it before you're back in the office.
You can definitely work out or even take a 20 min nap at home while being "green" on Skype. Can't do that in the office
It’s really hard. Take breaks and power naps to de stress.
I have a 2 year old, wife and all that being close I’m not readily available. So it’s tough. Add in last class of MBA, only junior left on my team I felt at times I was going to pull my hair out. Add in being in the guard and going and having a bunch of crap thrown at you and screamed at in the streets over last year, and stressing about being away from work all the time at one point, I legit felt my sanity slipping. Make time for yourself.
And further, I was in some fairly rigorous and demanding military units when I was younger and I know my physical limits pretty well. But I also wouldn’t ask someone to do something I myself wouldn’t do so pitches would come back all wrong from analysts and stuff. I’d stay up and help them and I was essentially doing sequential all nighters for a few rough weeks.
Plus with constant guard call ups, or being called up then stood down I tried to stay 48 hours ahead on work flow. MBA just finished I graduate this month so it’s slowly freeing up
