Hi, I know this isn't the place to seek tax advice. I haven't sold a car so this doesn't apply to me just yet, but was curious on the overall topic and people's experiences if they've dealt with this.
If I bought a car and sold it for less than the initial purchase price, would I pay taxes on the difference between the sale price and cost basis? If so how would I determine my basis in such a rapidly depreciating asset? Trying to decide if selling is worth the potential hassle. TIA

Hi all - figuring out loan options. Does anyone know if it’s better to choose:
A.) a longer term loan with a higher interest rate and overpay each month (0.5% higher interest, ~300 less in payment each month)
B.) a shorter term loan with a lower interest rate and meet the monthly payment exactly

Or how to calculate the better option?

I had filed a complaint against Goibibo, who delayed my flight cancellation request until 1 day before departure hence the airline charged a higher cancellation amount.

A friend of mine introduced me to the portal when I filed a complaint explaining the matter in detail, uploading Twitter DM screenshots, where the company was clearly denying responsibilities on the above.

Took 2 months but today my refund was initiated by Goibibo.

Definitely spent more money in the past year with therapy costs, new medications and small ad hoc things. Work to Billable Ratio First-year: interesting observation after about three months of work, I bill about 2/3 of my “working time.” I’ve compared my productive days because I’ve had some pretty intense outliers recently. 1st year associate in Texas. How/who do I ask to switch from litigation to transactional within my firm? I’ve been here for 6 weeks and billed a total of 10 hours. There appears to be a real lack of litigation work in general at the firm (and partners have told as much transparently) but they keep telling us to just wait and work will be coming. Is this lack of litigation work normal at other firms?
