I injured my hip at work. My workers comp restrictions are constantly being ignored by my management. I’m being told it’s how they interpret it, is what they follow. I am gaslit by management about my pain and made to feel like I am over reacting. I have a restriction not to push or lift more than 25 lbs. today I was told I still need to push patients in wheelchairs. What do I do??

Find a labor and employment attorney. They know the ropes, but ask around quietly who others in your area have used for such things to get a good recommendation.

Sorry to hear this but I see this happening most often

I’d hire an attorney.

This is like asking a fish to climb a tree. It's simply not a task you're equipped to handle especially with a hip that's still trying to find its groove.

They're going to take care of the company and look out for them. You should for you. Hire an attorney and let your work comp rep know.

Is there such thing as part time recruiting/sourcing roles? Does anyone know companies looking for this? Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Especially now mask mandates are being lifted feeling like we can’t go anywhere without risking our kid.

I tried to get on anti-depressants in college. The doctor at student health said I wasn’t depressed enough, too high functioning, well-adjusted, etc. I didn’t want to argue, I was afraid of coming off as “drug seeking”. It’s been a few years and it’s gotten worse. I don’t enjoy the things I used to love, I don’t want to do anything other than sleep, I’m struggling with an eating disorder, work feels like torture. I’m terrified of going back to a doctor and either hearing the same thing or having it go the other way and get put in some kind of in-patient program. How do you do this?
