I interviewed for a Manager role at Deloitte in GPS.

I went through the interview process. I interviewed with three different people over webcam. I thought it went very well.

The recruiter emailed me back a few days after the last interview asking me to call back for a quick chat to discuss the next steps. We set something up to discuss on Wednesday of next week.

What might be the next steps?

Can I expect that they may want me to interview in person?

Most likely, you can expect an offer. Recruiters don’t waste their time scheduling a call for logistics or rejections, it would just be bad business. Source: HR S&O Consultant

most likely it’s to set up a call with PPMD - which is good news. Pretty much just a culture fit / conversation. Usually offer within a couple days after

^This! Congrats OP. Almost home!

Congrats - sounds like your getting an offer

So they set up calls for 1 of 3 things really. Extend an offer (most common), Give you interview feedback bc you may have just missed the mark/went with someone else and they want you to reapply (unlikely but it happens), set up one more call with a partner to assess your fit/capabilities

I am currently on H1B valid till 2023. But I’m about to get laid off. If and when I do find a new employer, does the visa just need to be transferred regardless of work authorization requirements of the role (as H1B authorized me to work in the US) or does the new employer need to be someone that sponsors visa for this to happen? I am really struggling with coping and the job search
