Close rate for anyone else that may have that title, expected ramp time, if those deals have a different average process length to the previous role, base/commission structure (if different from previous role), and if they have any additional requirements that may not overlap for that previous position you interviewed for

Find out about the top end of the funnel, biggest challenges to conversion at the bottom end, try to ask questions about the value proposition from the client perspective, 3M/6M expectations of HM, development opportunities when you succeed in role(what comes after this?) etc.

Ask the hiring manager to describe their perfect salesperson. Then explain how you are that person. In the process, describe how you are going to exceed the goal ("hit my goal by mid-year"). Once you're satisfied that she/he is interested and open to offering you the AE job, ask what good things will happen to you if you accomplish that (club, comp, trained for management gig, et cetera).

Does anyone have knowledge of the financial crimes practice in KPMG? I am interviewing for a position to move there from a current forensics position. I was put into PIP in my first company. I believed my manager said that it's only for improvement. I signed it. Later realized it's a termination plan. So I quit the company. I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

I received a job offer with a probationary period that requires targets are met to obtain the full salary I requested. While this is not a pure sales role, biz dev and revenue are part of the responsibility of managing a 30pp department in this role.

One target requires I increase team revenue by 20% in 6 months. They haven't shared current revenue info yet, but 20% on ANY number seems really high, especially in the first 6 months.

I have a final interview for an AE position next week for a saas company. 30 min interview followed by role play. I’m pretty nervous even though I feel like i shouldn’t be but I’m just excited for the chance to finally move from my BDR position.

My quota is based on invoiced sales that resets quarterly. This includes a sliding-scale commission % based on how far you’re at on your quarterly goal (towards quota) which is checked/paid once a month. The only thing that goes toward our quota is PAID sales. This excludes orders still being processed by DE (largest orders) and customers still within NET payment terms. We don’t get paid until the company gets paid. Am I missing warning potential? Am I being expected of A and judged on B?

Hello all! in the cruise sales industry for about 8 years. always been a top producer but my last job I was at a cruise line that went belly up. Salaries in cruise industry are very low 20-40k and work hours are awful.
