I interviewed two weeks ago with the PE team at a Canadian pension fund. The fund is looking to add several associates to the team. I have found out through my sources that the team is still interviewing and has not made offers. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to improve my chances?

Send an email restating your interest to the HM. if you saw a recent, relevant deal announced that is roughly around the same time you interviewed -now (that you didn’t highlight during the meetings), maybe say a congratulatory sentence and that the deal looked “really interesting”.

Other than that assume you didn’t get it and keep hustling with other opps until you hear back.

Canadians are even worse. Passive aggressive in nature so they will smile at you the entire time and trash you behind your back

Just to close the loop. I have heard back and it has been good news. Thank you everyone for your kind insights and to the dreamers out there, stay hopeful, foolish and hungry.

What was the offer?
