I interviewed with Amazon recently and was told I did well and they want to make an offer but the job I interviewed for has been filled. Now they need to find a different position for me. Anybody have the same experience and how long did it take for them to find a new position for you?

Was in the process of interviewing in industry starting in July. Ended up connecting with the right MD at my firm during the process and getting on the type of work I’ve been trying to do for 2 years. The project is really intense and not sure how to do my final rounds with the other two companies during working hours. Is it worth the PTO If I wouldn’t take the offers? I don’t want to blow this project but don’t want to seem like a flake to the other companies. Advice please
