I interviewed with TCS 2 times in the past 1 month, Actually I recently completed 4 Years and last time when I cleared HR told me that you are getting CTC which we offer to a 3-4 experienced person but the interview which I recently cleared HR was different and she told me the same thing that for 4-5 years experienced person we offer the CTC which you are currently working on so we can match your CTC.
Can anyone suggest something on this how to negotiate?

I am terrible at withholding salary information from recruiters. Yesterday a recruiter gave the line “I would hate for us to get to the end of the interview process only for it to turn out that we couldn’t give the salary you would need” so I panicked and threw out a number that was thirty percent higher than my current pay. He then told me the salary range which was way higher! Do you really just firmly repeat “I need to learn more about the team and benefits before I can assign a number?”

She has been stuck with one project and one firm still stuck at a CTC of 5.6lpa and associate role although her performance rating has been in the top 2 tiers. She has tried applying for many firms but not received much response. Will it be okay for her to completely switch her profile and start fresh?
