What are you trying to accomplish. Why not just put it all in VTI and call it a day? If you want to hold the individual stocks, at least get rid of VIG and VOO. You already have VTI

likefunny

Just do VTI and VXUS, keep it simple and diversified

like

VOO is roughly 80% of VTI. A bunch of your individual holdings (especially tech) are a big part of VOO. You are also 75% allocated to a handful of individual stocks.

If you want to be that concentrated in a few stocks have at it, but you are taking on a lot of risk.

like

What an awful allocation. Buy VTI and VXUS and stop trying to be cool with all the stock picks.

Mutual fund equivalents are fine. That would be VTSAX and VTIAX.

like

You seem to like tech investing. While it is tue that you're very unlikely to beat the market, so you should just pick VOO or VTI, if you really feel strongly about tech, put 80% into VTI/VOO, and 20% into a tech sector etf.

like

agreed that you should just stick with ETFs, but also you are extremely mega-cap/large cap focused. Assuming you have a long investment horizon I would include small & mid cap stocks. You could also implement this through an ETF

Simplify into 1-2 funds or etfs as others have said. You get no additional benefit buying those individual stocks and would already be holding them.

No poach agreements (i.e., we agree not to solicit each other’s employees) in customer contracts are a no-no for antitrust reasons, right? A customer is pretty adamant that they want it in but I feel like this is black and white. Would love to know if any of you are seeing them in your customer contracts and whether you’re including “unless prohibited by law” type of language to CYA.

Help me think through this. We want a new construction in the MD DC VA area. Is it better to go to one of these neighborhoods where builders are building (1.7 mill) or to demolish a old house (1.5 or 1.6 maybe?) and hire a builder? Am I correct to assume in the 1st case I don’t pay a mortgage until it’s built, but in the second I’ll be paying the mortgage all year while it’s being built?? I feel like even if the neighborhood case is more expensive on paper, it may be cheaper in the long run???

Stock futures are going to crash 3-4 % lower on Monday. Nasdaq losses will be more mild though. At this point there will be a few winners and a whole lot of losers. 15 days of protests and corona cases plus shift into q2 forecast will lead to at least 10% pullback. Long live AMazon and Apple
