I joined a remote company( tier 2, same league as msft) 5 months back. I am very bored of wfh. I live in a small city and my friends live in other cities. I also like office, it gave a routine. I am thinking of quitting this job and search for an in-office role but I am worried about spoiling my resume and burning bridges as I would want to come back in the future. This is my 3rd job at 3.5 yoe. The company in itself is very good but 8 hrs per day in isolation is not working out. Should I quit?

1. Choose your friends wisely.
2. Focus on skill development.
3. Gossip and office politics are more or less common thing in corporate. We may not avoid it but limit ourselves as much as possible.
4. expect unexpected things.
5. No one really cares for you, so you have to set
your own priority and take decision accordingly.
6. You will understand whether your colleague is actually your friend or not only when you will be on np 😀.

I was interviewed for one of the teams for Appdynamics (Cisco subsidiary) for Software Engineer 2 position. I cleared all the rounds and background verification also. This process took a month and now they are saying that we have kept external hiring on hold for 2 weeks. But your candidature is confirmed and your offer letter will be released. We'll get back to you after 2 weeks. Is there anyone who is also waiting for an offer letter to be released? What do you guys think?
