I joined AbbVie recently ( 2 months ). I am getting calls from other big tech companies with better pay. Is it ok to switch the company? if yes, how about notice period. How long is it after designing! Any idea

Abbvie is somewhat known for being lower on the pay scale. Which site are you at? I would make the move.

What’s your role in Abbvie and new company ? What about WLB ?

like

Yes, and the professional thing to do is to give a two week notice, once you've accepted an offer. Be mindful of any sign-on bonus thatay be required to be paid back leaving that quick.

Personally, I think switching companies after 2 months might be prejudicial on your part, especially on your resume. But if you can raise it well to your manager and explain it during the interview with other companies, you'll be fine. Give them at least 2 weeks.

Hello,
I’m a junior data scientist and in my current job I mostly code using Pyspark (no machine learning) so I would like to work on a side project that could leverage my profile and data science/ML skills. What project would you advice me to work on ? (it can be a kaggle project, or a classic task that you do at your job, or a paper that you read).
I’m overwhelmed by the many suggestions online and would prefer to get a suggestion directly from professionals.
