I joined an new firm a few weeks ago (audit) but ultimately I want to do transaction diligence. When would be a good time to discuss it with my advisor (now or till I prove myself)?

I’m interviewing for a compliance role with Edward Jones. I’ve been in wealth Management for 10 years and I’ve never interviewed for this type of job before. What should I expect from the questioning? I’ve never been in compliance before, would they really take me or am I filling a quota?

I have a young student with CVI and extremely limited mobility. She is able to vocalize but not speak. However, I’ve seen her response and mannerisms change (positively) in the presence of parents and siblings which leads me to believe that she is cognizant enough to possibly use a communication device.
