5 weeks of experience is not a great selling point when looking to move,
I don’t think it’s a me problem I’m pretty well connected within my practice and am already spearing internal practice wide initiatives, and am ahead of the game for certifications. But then again i don’t know. I agree with the one year mark I guess, doesn’t look good

My demand manager keeps saying that they’re working on getting me staffed.. is this a bad sign? Should I move companies? To Industry? How does this look if I have little experience from my current?
Is this a you problem or a company or practice wide problem? Figure out if other people at your firm are in the same boat and actively try to get staffed. Would not recommend leaving before the year mark.
Staffing manager says that to everyone!
Does your practice have short projects? You can ask to be on a long term project?
Talk to your peers at the firm, you should know what they are doing and where they are anyway from happy hours, training events, and such
From my initial analysis I think most of the market for projects is on the east coast, and I’m on the west (I’m the only associate on the west coast). So I’m guessing it’s more of a high cost to fly me kinda thing?
