An executive of a major Telecom company approached me with an exciting opportunity. All details have been finalized for them to provide me an official offer other than the final compensation. Hi Fishes, I recently got an offer from NielsenIQ. I want to understand a few salary components. Are LTA, Car fuel & Maintenance, Meal vouchers, and Internet expenses just for tax benefits, or are they given with salary?

It would be great help if someone can help me understand these components.

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏
